Summer at its best

Darlings,

Yesterday was probably the first day this year that felt like summer to us.

We jumped on the bikes for some errands around town and on the way 

back home we passed the lake and we just couldn't wait to resist heading

on another small summer adventure. We  are now seriously thinking about 

getting our very own tandem kayak or canoe.  How fun would that be?

Tea, cupcakes, and hats

Last week was Lisa's special day. 

And what better way to celebrate her upcoming 

wedding than with a grown up tea party!

We got to decorate our own hats (I'm totally taking mine to the 

Derby one day, birds and all) and drink tea like proper ladies.

Best day EVER.

Nature Walks

Darlings,

This weekend we discovered Ferry Bluff Park. It is now my favorite

place for to spend a Sabbath afternoon. It's a bit of a steep hike to the 

top the the view is so worth it. 

The downside? Mosquitos the size of Big Bird. Not even kidding.
